Good work,

But I have installed the virtual box on rhel5, but I can’t ping the any system.
I have done lots of work to make it pngable but no luck.
What could be a cause for that.

Your help is needed.

Hi, not sure why you have been knocked off the AD, since i use this on the same type of setup, may want to check the type of network config you have with VB, since if your not using the NAT method, this can be the issue.

also im not really sure your issue, also about FTP, are you trying to get files off the guest OS, and whats the guest OS you got ?

I did all that you recommended. And Virtual box works just fine for me with one exception. I have been knocked off the company LAN (uses Active Directory)!

Oddly my co-workers can view ‘n access my shared folders just fine. And I can add new shares too (have to do it twice cos times 1 generates a Vista error).

It’s annoying not to be able to access shared files except via FTP.

My problems began after I setup Virtualbox 1.6.2 + Additions and haven’t improved no matter which Virtualbox version I upgrade to.

Any help is welcome
